From account creation to connection verification

VPN Setup Guide

Complete the steps in order: create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into the client, and verify the connection. Handle only the current task at each step before moving on.

This guide covers the shortest working path: create an account and activate a valid plan, get the subscription link, give it to the client for your platform, and confirm that the route is handling network requests. A subscription link is not an installer or a single fixed route; it provides the client with the route configuration currently available to your account. Once you understand this, you can change devices or regions without placing another order.

VPNUD supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, and your account can be used on an unlimited number of devices. This guide focuses on the basic import process for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. For protocol differences, streaming region behavior, and advanced troubleshooting, continue with the Complete Guide or search by symptom in FAQs.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account

Open the VPNUD sign-up page, set a username for signing in, then set a password and create the account. No email address is required, so there is no email to wait for and no need to leave the page to retrieve a verification code. Your username identifies you when you access the user panel later. Store the password separately and avoid reusing it on public websites.

If the page opens the user panel after submission, the account is ready to use. Do not look for a subscription link yet: without an active plan, the overview may show only your account status and the plan entry. Next, open the Plans page so the account receives available data and a valid period. If the page stays where it is, check whether the username is already taken and whether both password fields match, then correct the details as prompted. Do not repeatedly submit the same request.

You do not need to create another account when changing devices. Sign in with the same username and password, then get the current subscription from the panel. Your account details are the entry point for everything that follows, so confirm that the password is stored safely after signing up before choosing a plan.

First Month Free

PLAN

Choose a Plan and Place Your Order

In the Plans section of the user panel, first decide between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how you use the service. Monthly subscriptions reset data on the activation date each month and suit ongoing use. Data packages last until the data is used and never expire, making them suitable for irregular use. Focus on your expected data usage rather than judging only by price.

Monthly subscriptions come in three tiers: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. If you upgrade during the term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. All plans work on an unlimited number of devices, but data used across devices counts toward the same account, so check the remaining balance in Account Overview when sharing access.

After selecting a plan, review the order. Check the plan name, data allowance, and amount, then choose an available payment method from Alipay, WeChat, or USDT. After payment, return to the panel and do not create the same order again. Once the order is confirmed, Account Overview will show the active plan and subscription entry. If payment is complete but the panel has not updated, refresh Account Overview first. If the issue continues, submit the order details through the ticket page.

VPNUD offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. See the FAQs for the request process and common billing questions. This guide now covers plans that are already active: once the subscription section appears in the panel, you can copy the subscription link.

View Plans in the Panel

SUBSCRIPTION

Get the Subscription Link from the User Panel

After the plan becomes active, open Account Overview and find the subscription information section. It usually includes options to copy the subscription, import it into a client, or get a client. This step requires the account-specific subscription link: click Copy and the system will place it on the clipboard. Do not mistake the panel URL in your browser’s address bar for the subscription link; they serve different purposes.

The subscription link lets the client read the route configuration currently available to your account, so treat it like a password and keep it private. Do not share it in public chats, forums, screenshots, or shared documents. If you think someone has seen it, update the subscription information in the panel and re-import it on every device. Any link shown in a guide should be an obvious example value, such as:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

The address above cannot connect and is not associated with VPNUD. In practice, use only the content copied from Account Overview. After copying, you can paste it into a temporary text area provided by your system to check it: the complete link must remain intact from the protocol at the beginning through the end, with no line breaks, ellipses, or extra spaces. Close the temporary text area as soon as you confirm it, then open the client for your platform.

If the overview has no subscription entry, check that the plan is active, that you are signed in to the correct account, and that the order is not still processing. Do not search for a supposedly universal subscription address in search results or other people’s posts. For more ways to check account and subscription status, see the FAQs; this page does not cover order issues or link resets in detail.

CLIENTS

Import into Clients on Each Platform

Choose your current system in the client download section of the user panel. Client downloads are provided inside the panel; this page does not host static installer links. After installing and opening the VPNUD client, find subscription management, add configuration, or import from link. Paste the subscription link copied in the previous step. A successful import should show regions and routes, not just a block of link text.

Windows Client

Sign in to the user panel, open the client download section, select Windows, and get the VPNUD client as directed by the panel. Install and open the program, find subscription management in the main interface or sidebar, and choose to add from the clipboard or a link. Paste your account-specific subscription link, give this configuration an easy-to-recognize name, and update it.

After the update, the client will show available routes. Keep the default system proxy or connection mode for now, and do not run other tools that also change network settings. If the route list is empty, return to subscription management, check that the link is complete, and run one manual update. Once the list appears, avoid switching repeatedly; choose a nearby region and continue to verification.

macOS Client

Get the VPNUD client for macOS from the panel, then follow the system prompts to install and open it for the first time. If macOS asks you to approve a network configuration, allow it after confirming that the app source is correct. Open the client’s subscription or configuration page, select Add, paste the subscription link into the address field, then save and update.

When the routes appear, choose one in the menu bar or the client’s main window and start the connection. If another network configuration is already running on macOS, close the old connection first to prevent multiple configurations from changing proxy or tunnel status at the same time. During the first connection, the system may request permission again; this confirms the required network configuration. The client should then change from disconnected to connected.

Android Client

Open the Android entry in the user panel’s download section and get the VPNUD client using the method provided there. After installation, open the client and find Add Subscription, Import Link, or the plus entry. Choose to read from the clipboard, confirm that it shows the account-specific link you just copied, then save the configuration and update the routes.

When you connect for the first time, the system will show a network connection permission dialog. Confirm that the app name matches the current client, then allow the connection. If no routes appear after import, check whether the system is restricting the client’s network access, then return to the subscription page and refresh it. Some systems manage background apps aggressively; if the connection stops often after the screen locks, follow the system settings guidance in the FAQs.

iOS Client

Open the iOS download entry from the user panel and follow the instructions to get the appropriate VPNUD client from the App Store. After installation, return to the panel and copy the subscription link, then open the client and choose Add Subscription or Import from URL. Paste the link, save the configuration, and refresh it. Available regions and routes should then appear.

When starting the connection for the first time, iOS will ask to add a network configuration. Confirm it, complete system authorization using your device unlock method, and return to the client to check the connection status. If the import screen offers scanning and link options, pasting the link copied from the panel makes it easier to check that it is complete. If a subscription update fails, do not repeatedly create configurations with the same name. Delete the incorrect entry first, then copy the complete link again and import it.

VERIFY

Connect to a Route and Verify It

After importing, choose a nearby region from the route list. A nearby route is usually a better starting point for verification because the cross-border path is more direct, making it easier to tell whether an issue comes from the local network or the target region. Select a route, click Connect, and wait until the client clearly shows “Connected” or an equivalent status before accessing the target service.

Do not rely only on the client button’s color when verifying the connection. Open a page you have not visited before and confirm that it loads normally, then check whether the target service shows the region matching your selected route. If the page still shows the previous result, close and reopen the browser or check in a new private window to avoid confusion caused by cached data or an existing session.

If the connection succeeds but the target service is unavailable, switch to another route in the same region and reopen the target page. Services make their own decisions based on exit region, account region, and content licensing, so “client connected” and “target content available” are separate results that must be checked independently. Continue reading about streaming region restrictions and the relationship between account and payment regions in the Unlocking Guide.

If no route can connect, pause the current connection, confirm that your original network can open ordinary webpages, and update the subscription again. If it still does not recover, record the platform, selected region, client message, and stage where the issue occurred, then submit them through the ticket page. Describing the issue clearly as “import failed,” “unable to connect,” or “connected but the target service is unavailable” makes troubleshooting easier than writing only “it doesn’t work.”

MAINTENANCE

Update Your Subscription and Switch Routes

You do not need to import the subscription repeatedly for everyday use. Once the client has saved it, route changes are usually synchronized through “Update Subscription.” If the route list differs from the panel or an existing route remains unavailable for a long time, update it in the client first, then reconnect. Delete the old configuration and import it again only if the subscription link was reset, the configuration is corrupted, or you changed clients.

Before changing regions, disconnect from the current route, select the new region, and reconnect. This helps prevent an old session from continuing to use the previous exit. When using AI Tools, remote collaboration, or Streaming, keep the exit region consistent throughout a session where possible, rather than switching repeatedly between regions in a short period. If the target service retains the old region session, sign out and back in, then check the result again.

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date; data packages last until used and never expire. The user panel is the source of truth for remaining data, plan status, and order history. When you need to upgrade a monthly subscription, the panel converts the price difference into remaining days. Further details about payments, refunds, connection issues, and route selection are available in the FAQs. Protocol fundamentals and streaming behavior are covered in the Complete Guide; read them as needed after completing the basic setup.
